Let me tell you 'bout the birds and the bees.

A special affection for headbands has recently started. I made one a couple of weeks ago. It’s a brick-red precipitate colour, the only phrase I can conjure up for such a colour. Chemistry lab lessons were influential. I hated them. Anyway, with whatever materials I had, I made a rather large flower out of organza ribbons and some buttons and sewn the whole thing onto a plastic headband. I wore it out to the mall and my brother kept avoiding me. Explains a lot, I’m not sure if it’s good or bad.

And just the other day, I saw a black & white feathered headband from Déjà Vu Vintage. 75 whooping bucks! I held it in my hands and my legs were urging me to the counter. ZY stopped me and said 75 bucks?! And then I reluctantly put it down. I got a bit pissed, not at him but at myself. So I popped down to Spotlight and sighted a gorgeous but pitiful bunch of feathers. Gorgeous because it’s a beautiful dark pink streaked with white and black. Pitiful because there were only 6 feathers! I vow to go back to Spotlight to find more of those and then I’ll get down to business and make my own feathered headband. I hope it’ll turn out nice.
